Starter Kits

If you’re new to vaping, the first thing you’ll need to buy is a starter kit. A vaping starter kit includes a vaping device and the accessories necessary to make it work. Just add a bottle of e-liquid, and you’re ready to vape!

Vaping starter kits come in two different varieties: Pod kits and mod kits. The type of kit that you buy will have a tremendous impact on your vaping experience, so we’ll explain your decision here.

Pod Vaping Kits

We suggest starting with a pod kit if you’re new to vaping. Most pod systems are very small – just a little larger than cigarettes – and they’re very easy to use. Just fill the pod and enjoy.

After several refills, you’ll notice that the flavour begins to change, or the quantity of vapour begins to decrease. When that happens, it’s time for a new pod.

Aside from replacing the pod and recharging the battery, a pod system requires no other maintenance.

Mod Vaping Kits

Mods are larger vaping devices that often operate at higher power levels and have much greater battery capacities compared to pod systems.

Mods are typically a bit more complicated to use than pod systems because they have multiple configuration options and include tanks that require periodic atomiser coil replacements.

Mods can often produce incredibly large vapour clouds, and you’ll get those clouds by inhaling the vapour directly into your lungs. Many experienced vapers like the direct-to-lung inhaling style, but most new vapers prefer to inhale from the mouth to the lungs. That’s one reason why we suggest buying a pod system rather than a mod if you’re new to vaping.

Many vape mods require batteries. Grab batteries from the vaping accessories section of our site. We also recommend to charge any batteries externally using a purpose specific charger, which you can get here. This extends the life of the battery cell and has added safety protection to reduce chances of venting.
